📋 Description

• Aggressively visit surgeons, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers to solicit orders from present and prospective customers • Work with existing sales team to manage penetration within targeted new accounts with a regional perspective • Manage independent sales teams, coordinate sales support, operations, and training and education within assigned territory • Travel within assigned territory to make account calls, attend meetings, conduct training programs, and attend conventions and trade shows • Recruit, train, and oversee the development of sales team, establishing and maintaining effective one-on-one relationships • Identify and qualify viable prospects in assigned territory • Track the activity and performance trends of sales team, ensuring sales team understands and adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures • Manage and maintain inventory and instrument set utilization to maximize use of company resources • Provide consistent field interaction and communication to ensure company’s corporate and marketing messages are clearly communicated • Build rapport and trust with agents, sales representatives, and key surgeons to foster interdependent relationships that create strong connectivity • Assess quality of sales team and distributors recommending appropriate changes to accomplish sales objectives • Provide monthly reports regarding the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats of the region to management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• MUST HAVE sales experience and in-depth knowledge of orthopedics in hip and knee implants, enabling technologies, or capital sales of orthopedic products • Proven track record in growing sales and adding customers • Expertise across all primary OR procedures displaying confidence as partner and product expert in the OR • Understanding of territory markets and healthcare system • Solid understanding of the sales process within both hospital and ASC environments and the ability to convert key decision makers • Thorough understanding of the orthopedic marketplace, specifically enabling technologies like robotics and navigation • Solid understanding of partial, primary, and revision knee/hip replacements • Experience and success with VAC and product approval committees • Self-starter with the ability to work in an unstructured environment, moving from place to place • Able to work as a team putting your customers and coworkers before self-interests • Operate with integrity while being competitive and wanting to win • Proven leader, relationship builder, networker, influencer, and motivator • Experience building and managing a sales team • Experience forecasting and projecting sales • Proven experience generating revenue and driving new business • Experience with 1099 reps and distributors • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Apply sound judgment when making decisions and communicating with internal and external customers.
