📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of the Design System: Help define and expand our core design principles, patterns, and components based on user needs, technical constraints, and platform strategy. • Design and document UI components and patterns: Create high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and detailed specifications for new and existing components, ensuring clarity and ease of implementation for engineering teams. • Maintain and govern design consistency: Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to product teams to ensure adherence to the Design System and promote a unified user experience across the OutSystems platform. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product designers, front-end engineers, product managers, and accessibility experts throughout the product development lifecycle. • Advocate for the user: Bring user-centered design principles to the forefront, ensuring that the design system empowers developers to create intuitive and effective user interfaces. • Contribute to design system documentation and education: Help create and maintain comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and educational resources to facilitate the adoption and understanding of the Design System. • Stay current with industry trends: Continuously research and explore emerging UXUI trends, technologies, and best practices to inform the evolution of the design system. • Mentor and support junior designers: Share your knowledge and experience to help grow the design capabilities within the broader OutSystems design team.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). • Proven experience as a UXUI designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex use cases. • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design. • High proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools. • Experience working with or contributing to design systems. • Deep understanding of component-based design, system thinking, user testing and documentation. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and persuasively. • Understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others) and their impact on design feasibility is a plus. • Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design principles. • A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
