📋 Description

• shape and embed our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework • support the Compliance & Risk Lead in designing and implementing risk processes • develop and maintain Paddle’s risk taxonomy • take ownership of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) • lead continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) • define and maintain the Risk Appetite Framework and Statements • oversee the identification and assessment of strategic and emerging risks • prepare risk governance materials for XLT, Board, and governance forums • support production of risk reporting for senior stakeholders • embed risk management practices into business processes • deliver risk training and awareness sessions across the business • oversee the remediation of internal audit findings and regulatory requirements • engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in risk oversight

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in risk management (first or second line) • background in operational or enterprise risk within financial services, fintech, or payments • design frameworks from first principles that work for a scaling business • hands-on experience with core risk processes including risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), control design, issue and incident management, and risk reporting • comfortable balancing pragmatic solutions with regulatory and stakeholder expectations
