• Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure and Projects, the Process Automation Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable business applications and automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. • Transform business requirements into secure, practical, and high-quality technical solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve operational efficiency. • Work collaboratively with partners across departments to identify automation opportunities, develop data-driven solutions and visualizations, and deliver scalable applications that support business operations and continuous improvement. • Proactively engage with all business units to observe work patterns and identify opportunities to enhance productivity through process transformation and automations. • Build and deploy high-impact automations using Power Automate to streamline cross-departmental tasks and reduce administrative workload. • Maintain the integrity of the Power Platform environment by following best practices for data security, naming conventions, and version control.
• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. • Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500) is required. • Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) is considered an asset. • 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, workflow optimization, or software development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform. • At least one year of experience building complex, multi-step cloud flows in Power Automate and developing functional, user-facing apps in Power Apps. • At least one year of experience designing and maintaining professional-grade dashboards in Power BI that pull from multiple data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, or Excel). • At least one year of experience working directly with business users to observe and "extract" process steps and requirements in environments where workflows may not yet be formalized. • At least one year of experience supporting structured data ingestion or automation workflow. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. • Effective written and verbal communication skills in French (asset).
