• Serve as the Primary Technical Advisor: You will be the named technical account manager for our strategic customers, building deep relationships and acting as their trusted expert on all things Pelmorex Weather Source. • Lead Technical Onboarding: You will own the critical first 90 days of the customer journey, guiding new clients through the technical setup and integration of our API, cloud deliveries, and Analytics as a Service platform. • Solve High-Stakes Problems: You will be the final escalation point for our most complex technical support issues, diving deep into customer environments to diagnose and resolve integration challenges. • Partner in Pre-Sales: You will work alongside our Account Executives in the pre-sales process, acting as the technical expert in demos and discovery calls to build trust and credibility with technical buyers. • Be the Voice of the Customer: You will translate your frontline experience and customer feedback into clear, actionable insights for our product and engineering teams, directly influencing our product roadmap. • Contribute to Our Developer Community: You will create and improve our technical documentation, write tutorials, and build code samples that empower our developer community and reduce friction for all users. • Document Our Best Practices: You will be responsible for producing internal documentation - support playbooks, bespoke data pipelines, sales assets, etc - that will aid all parts of our business in supporting and selling our products.
• A Natural, Inquisitive Problem Solver: You have a relentless curiosity and a passion for digging into complex technical problems and thinking outside the box to find the root cause and the best possible solution. • An Empathetic Communicator & Educator: You have a unique ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers, analysts, and business leaders in a way that is clear, patient, and empowering. • A Proactive, Self-Directed Owner: You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives on taking ownership of a problem from start to finish. • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: You are skilled at building trust and navigating conversations with a wide range of people, from a junior developer to a C-level executive. • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. • Proven experience working within a major data warehouse, especially Snowflake. • Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python, for data manipulation and automation. • A deep understanding of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and API fundamentals. • Bonus Points: Prior experience in roles such as Support Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager. • Ability to manage and query petabyte-scale datasets. • Comfortable working in a Linux or MacOS command line environment. • Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Familiarity with GIS tools, geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, WKT), or cloud mapping services. • An interest in learning more about weather, forecasting, and climatology.
