📋 Description

• Work with product management and organizational stakeholders to understand business and product strategies • Develop software supporting current and future business needs • Assess current capabilities, identify gaps, and create a cohesive technology architecture • Execute the architecture with the software engineering team and ensure applications can scale • Envision and articulate the technical picture across the development organization • Evaluate existing systems and make decisions about future development with management • Identify financial, security, and compliance impacts of proposed technical changes • Identify technical solutions, evaluate tradeoffs, and provide recommendations • Create and maintain written and visual application architecture representations • Maintain an architecture roadmap and sequence work efficiently • Review instrumentation and logging to identify technical deficiencies • Communicate complex technical decisions and constraints to multiple audiences • Write and maintain code in multiple programming languages • Perform code reviews and guide engineers implementing architecture components • Ensure software architecture meets quality, security, and scaling expectations • Provide technology vision alignment and clarity across the development team • Deliver measurable progress on the architecture roadmap • Mentor and train other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or other technical leadership role • Minimum 2 years developing cloud native applications • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with traditional and unstructured data storage systems at scale, several +100GBs • Deep familiarity with 3 or more modern software languages • Prior exposure to DevOps technologies such as Docker and Jenkins • Knowledge of software delivery pipelines • Excellent communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Experience with .NET Core, MySQL, Vue.js, and NodeJS preferred • Experience in the Financial Services or FinTech industry preferred • Experience integrating machine learning models into applications preferred • Additional preferred skills defined in the Skills Matrix for Software Engineer 5-7
