📋 Description

• Solution design: Translate complex business requirements into detailed, maintainable technical architectures. • Team support and leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to architecture standards during implementation. • Cross-team communication: Act as the technical liaison to ensure seamless integration and alignment with other teams across the organization. • EdgeX integration strategy: Define the approach for onboarding new devices and for the flow of data from the edge to backend systems. • Architecture documentation: Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for new solutions. • Technical standards: Define and enforce development best practices, with a particular focus on the performance and reliability of Golang and Java microservices.

🎯 Requirements

• EdgeX Foundry: Advanced expertise in implementing and designing integrations within the EdgeX ecosystem (including understanding of device services, core services, and configuration) is required. • Programming languages: Deep knowledge of Java and Golang (Go) to support and guide implementations is required. • Distributed systems: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, resilience patterns, and messaging queues (e.g., MQTT, Kafka) common in edge and IoT environments. • Containerization: Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/K3s for deploying services at the edge. • IoT protocols: Familiarity with key communication protocols like MQTT, OPC-UA, and REST for device integration.
