📋 Description

• Work closely with development and product teams to ensure the highest standards for our software solutions. • Define automation guidelines and best practices for test frameworks, test pipelines, test environments, and reporting. • Support development teams in implementing these practices (e.g., unit, component, and contract tests) and define outputs for our central dashboards and test management (Xray). • Advise teams on when and where tests should be executed. • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript. • Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including management of test artifacts and reporting. • Produce comprehensive reporting with Allure and integrate with issue tracking for full traceability. • Contribute to the security and reliability of our delivery pipelines through quality gates and dependency checks. • Improve test data management—promote strategies for realistic test data generation, lifecycle management, and cleanup. • Participate in exploratory testing and work closely with developers and product managers.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in test automation with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript (must-have). • Practical experience with CI/CD (ideally GitLab) and automating pipelines. • Familiarity with reporting and test management tools such as Allure and Xray. • Understanding of modern test strategies and the test pyramid (Unit, Component, Contract, E2E, Exploratory) and their role in a layered approach. • ISTQB certification or willingness to obtain one. • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts (dependency scans, secure pipelines). • Knowledge of cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Azure, Terraform) is a plus. • Strong communication skills to train and support other teams, combined with a hands-on mentality. • Structured and analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and reliability. • Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English (both required).
