This person transforms high-level ideas into production-grade systems that are stable, observable, documented, and extendable.

🎯 Requirements

• **Top 6 Performance Objectives ****1. Architect and deliver the first end-to-end AI automation systems **- Assess current automation needs across departments (Ops, Growth, SEO, Risk, CS). • - Design 3–5 priority workflows using n8n + Python/TS microservices + APIs. • - Ensure every workflow includes retries, error-handling, logging, and observability. • **2. Build a scalable AI integration framework (first 4–6 months)**- Create a unified architecture for LLM-enabled workflows, including: • - ingestion pipelines • - embeddings and vector search • - model routing • - quality evaluation • - monitoring for drift • - Integrate OpenAI/Anthropic/HuggingFace models and evaluate best-performing options. • **3. Implement observability, monitoring, and reliability standards (first 120 days)**- Establish standards for: • - logging • - structured error reporting • - notifications/alerting • - testing and versioning. • - Introduce a reliability dashboard (Grafana, Looker, custom logs, or alternatives). • **4. Translate vague business requests into production-grade automations (ongoing)**- Partner with business owners to turn unclear problems (“we should automate X…”) into clear architecture specs. • - Run lightweight discovery workshops to clarify inputs, outputs, and ROI. • - Deliver MVP versions fast, then mature them into scalable systems. • **5. Establish internal standards & documentation for all automations **- Create architecture diagrams for every system. • - Maintain runbooks for troubleshooting, change logs, and workflow behavior. • - Ensure every automation is modular, reusable, version-controlled, and peer-review friendly. • **6. Lead the automation function and mentor technical contributors **- Set engineering standards for n8n usage, code quality, modularity, and testing. • - Coach engineers and non-technical contributors in automation logic and best practices. • - Potentially hire 1–2 automation engineers. • **Must-Haves **Candidates must show past accomplishments **directly tied to**: • - Designing automation systems end-to-end (not only operating tools). • - Production-level LLM integration (pipelines, vector search, evaluation, monitoring). • - n8n expertise OR similar modular automation platform experience. • - Strong engineering foundation in Python or TypeScript (ideally both). • - Architecting reusable and reliable automation components. • - Debugging, testing, CI/CD, logging, versioning. • - Working autonomously and owning outcomes end-to-end. • - Turning half-defined business ideas into technical architecture. • **Soft Skills / Leadership **- Systems thinker • - Business outcome–driven • - Calm, reliable, precise • - Highly curious and up to date on tools • - Excellent communicator • - Mentorship and documentation discipline • - Fast prototyper with high engineering standards.
