• Develop and execute a sales and profitability plan for the assigned territory in line with management objectives • Expand Elevator and Escalator sales within existing accounts and target new prospects • Lead Sales Agents and coordinate with global counterparts on international opportunities • Collaborate with marketing to build sales opportunities and support customer engagements • Conduct business reviews, product training, and plant tours for customers and industry groups • Leverage Regional Distribution Centers to improve market service; support Distributor efforts • Act as market and product expert to anticipate customer needs and propose solutions • Manage customer expectations and communication through meetings, calls, marketing, and email • Resolve customer issues with internal resources; support pricing, inventory, and forecasting decisions • Maintain CRM with customer data and RFPs; provide regular reports • Lead process improvements and regional trade show participation • Ensure compliance with DE&I commitments in recruitment
• Develop and execute a sales and profitability plan for the assigned territory • Expand Elevator and Escalator sales within existing accounts • Identify and target new prospects • Manage activity of Sales Agents supporting Elevator and Escalator Sales • Coordinate sales activities with global counterparts where customers have global sales opportunities • Collaborate with marketing to build sales opportunities • Lead business reviews, product training, and plant tours with customers and industry organizations • Utilize Regional Distribution Centers to enhance service to market • Support Authorized Stocking Distributor efforts in maintaining and attaining new accounts • Be the subject matter expert on the market and customers • Recommend and lead cross-functional teams in developing product and service enhancements • Anticipate customer needs and present solutions • Develop and maintain cadence of customer touch points • Develop and deliver oral and written presentations to customers and prospects • Coordinate resolution of customer issues with internal resources • Support AR below target levels • Assist product managers with pricing decisions, product introduction, inventory decisions and forecasting • Update CRM with Customer contact information, RFP opportunities • Lead initiatives to create or improve processes and tools • Participate in regional trade shows • Prepare and distribute necessary management, sales or customer reports • Provide NORAM voice of customer as required in conjunction with Global OEM agreements • Manages up communicating activity related to the responsibilities of the Sales Manager role
