• Collaborate with editorial leads to prioritise content, manage publishing calendars, and coordinate social output with daily news cycles. • Lead and mentor a team of social media executives to ensure timely publishing across all relevant platforms. • Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across content formats, from static posts to reels and stories. • Create engaging multimedia content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere, including news graphics, photo posts, motion-based visuals, and social-first videos. • Contribute to short-form video workflows—writing basic scripts, overseeing edits, and ensuring platform-optimized output. • Collaborate with writers, editors, and video producers to translate story ideas into compelling visual assets. • Ensure visual content is aligned with publishing trends and audience retention goals. • Track platform performance through analytics dashboards (Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, etc.). • Deliver insights and recommendations to improve content reach, engagement, and retention. • Adjust content direction based on data, trending topics, and evolving platform algorithms.
• 3–5 years of experience in social media content strategy and multimedia production, preferably in a media or entertainment setting. • Proficiency in content creation and visual design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or Premiere Pro. • Experience managing publishing schedules and teams across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. • A strong understanding of viral formats, social-first storytelling, and audience engagement strategies. • Excellent organizational, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
