📋 Description
• Working with patients from across Alberta who are highly motivated and excited to access care • Supporting peoples’ gender journeys through hormone prescribing and referrals to surgeons • Working collaboratively with a team including other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and a Psychotherapist to ensure high quality care is provided to all patients • Reducing wait-times for trans and nonbinary folks in all regions of Alberta • Advocating for system changes to better support trans and nonbinary people
🎯 Requirements
• A College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) license in good standing • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage for practice in Alberta • An interest in gender-affirming care • Previous experience and/or training in trans and nonbinary health care (e.g. from Trans Care BC, Rainbow Health Ontario, WPATH, etc.)
