📋 Description

• For a cross-departmental large-scale IT project in the public sector, we are seeking an experienced professional with extensive expertise in system engineering. • As Lead System Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and operating complex system landscapes. You will act as the technical link between architecture, development, and operations, ensuring that the performance, stability, and security of the systems meet the highest standards. • You will work both strategically with regard to architectural decisions and technology standards — and operationally, to successfully deliver critical systems, integrations, and migrations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a PEGA Lead or Senior System Engineer • Proven experience in leading technical implementation projects • In-depth knowledge of server, storage, network, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Linux, Windows, VMware) • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and hybrid architectures • Skills in automation, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) • Experience in performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning of complex systems • Fluent German language skills; good English skills desirable • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work style with strong execution skills
