📋 Description

• Rackner is a software consultancy that builds cloud-native solutions for startups, enterprises, and the public sector. • Position Overview: Rackner is seeking a Senior Test Engineer highly specialized in one or more phases of systems engineering and testing. • Responsibilities: • · Evaluates the applicability of a broad range of information systems issues, including hardware/software integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms • · Evaluates the effectiveness and applicability of a broad range of information systems • · Works with Test Engineer to develop test cases and formal test plans to implement large information system • · Provides testing input for program engineering and acquisition documents and products • · Test software system and reports defects clearly and concisely • · Tracks all systems bugs/discrepancies and ensures software engineers resolve and incorporate necessary fixes • · Performs complex and repetitive testing to ensure computer system conforms to specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or Mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) • 10 years’ experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within and application area • Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting • Demonstrated experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. DevOps/DevSecOps) in a professional or academic setting • Ability to obtain Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
