📋 Description

• Assist in leading a team of engineers and designers. • Supervise and check signal hardware circuit plans and Programming for grade crossing and wayside projects. • Design for different Railroads, Commuter Rail, and Transit Systems. • Assist in the development of bidding documents for small and large proposals. • Manage project budgets, schedules, billing, and client needs. • Conduct regular meetings with clients. • Supervise all contract associates and subcontractors. • Conduct field site visits for preliminary engineering and assess existing conditions. • Produce preliminary design sketches for project scope. • Develop signal specifications. • Travel to conduct signal cut-in oversight with contractors in the field and/or provide remote design support to contractors through to commissioning.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency with electronic communication , including email and text , and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite ). • Solid oral and written communication skills . • Ability to interact effectively with other staff members and internal & external customers. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program. • 15+ years of prior experience required. • Engineer in Training (EIT) or PE certification. • Bilingual- Spanish a Plus.
