📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) • Location: [Remote] • Employment Type: Full-time • We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who is passionate about quality and eager to ensure the delivery of high-performing and robust software products. • This role blends manual testing of new features and workflows with automated test development. • You’ll be responsible for working closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, design test cases, execute manual tests, and develop automated test scripts for continuous integration environments. • Responsibilities: • Review requirements and design test plans and test cases (manual and automated). • Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium. • Work with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions to integrate automated tests. • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure Boards. • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution. • Maintain testing documentation and contribute to test process improvements. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum environment).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in software QA with both manual and automation testing. • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit). • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. • Proficiency in Java for writing automation scripts. • Experience with version control systems like Git. • Proficiency in English. • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. • Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack). • Mobile testing experience (manual or automation using Appium).
