📋 Description

• People Leadership: You lead and develop our Accounting team (currently 2 FTE). • Operational & Strategic Accounting: You lead and work hands-on with our Accounting team (currently 2 FTE) and are responsible for O2C, P2P and R2R end-to-end. • You own the monthly, quarterly and annual close (HGB) including the closing calendar, reviews, accruals and general ledger quality. • You lead the audit process end-to-end and drive our IFRS readiness. • You build accounting and tax structures for new countries in collaboration with external advisors.

🎯 Requirements

• You have a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a comparable qualification (Bilanzbuchhalter, ACCA, CPA, WP or similar). • You bring 7–10 years of professional experience in Accounting, including 2–3 years in a leading, hands-on role as a Team Lead. • You have HGB excellence and consolidation experience, with practical ownership of monthly and annual financial statements. • You have audit ownership (end-to-end) — including key controls, PBC, findings & remediation — and are familiar with IFRS. • You have solid experience with DATEV; experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system is a strong plus. • You have international and tax experience with VAT, intercompany matters, statutory filings and tax calendars. • You are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets, tech‑affine and process- and automation-oriented. • You communicate confidently in German and English and enjoy working in international teams. • You are detail-oriented, structured and proactive, and actively seek ways to simplify and digitize processes.
