This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team that will shape how we monetize the Reddit platform and help connect Redditors with brands they love. • The Recommendations team is building automated advertising solutions for advertisers across the full funnel. Our vision is for advertisers to be able to bring us their budget and their creative and we do the rest. As we do that, we want to ensure advertisers and Reddit’s sales team has the capabilities and tools needed to confidently optimize their ad campaigns whether they care about reach and frequency on upper funnel or ROAS, post-installs, and purchases on lower funnel. • Role description: We are seeking a product owner of our Ad Recommendations & Opti-Score charter. This is one of our most impactful areas and this role will be critical in shaping and driving the success of multiple strategic initiatives in Reddit Ads. You will develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the area. You will work closely with multiple teams across the ads platform (examples: ads manager, ads signals, ads targeting, ads retrieval, ads reporting, ads optimization, etc.) to build advertiser and campaign recommendations solutions that help both brand and performance advertisers succeed. • Responsibilities: Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for Recommendations; Gather insights from advertisers, agencies, and sales to translate into innovative products; Drive ownership and alignment across cross-functional teams; Build and scale solutions leveraging Reddit’s data; Drive success metrics and accountability across the organization.
• 7-8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years within AdTech • End-to-end experience with building Recommendations advertising solutions (for ex: Google OptiScore) • Strong depth of understanding with Machine Learning, and experience driving strategy for ML based AdTech products • A track record of developing and championing product strategy and vision with quantifiable business impact • A compelling influencer with demonstrated experience working with Sales & Marketing teams, along with other cross functional teams to drive alignment, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational and execution skills. • Technical degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field)
