📋 Description

• Lead global data privacy and related compliance initiatives. • Deliver strategic legal guidance on data privacy matters. • Implement data privacy programs across Redwood’s global business. • Support data privacy compliance in Redwood’s SaaS and On-Premises products. • Shape data privacy processes that enhance customer and employee trust. • Collaborate with CISO and product development teams on compliance initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7+ years of legal counsel experience through a combination of in-house representation and at large law firms, ideally with SaaS and data privacy expertise. • Must be IAPP certified with a CIPP/E, with CIPP/US being a plus. • Exceptional writing and communication skills, including the ability to advise on external matters and draft legal policies and documents. • Solid knowledge of data privacy frameworks, specifically in the United States and Europe. • Proven experience in creating and implementing formal data privacy initiatives at a fast-moving software company. • Experience in supporting commercial negotiations for data privacy issues. • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues across departments.
