• Utilize software to assist in running the Company's Accounting Information System, payroll and payment platforms. • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, managing financial transactions, and preparing financial reports. • Ensure that financial records are maintained accurately and in compliance with accounting principles and standards • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. • Review and reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card transactions • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management • Manage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures • Support in accounting/ finance process improvement initiatives. • Train and mentor junior accounting staff
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Certified Public Accountant • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including 2 years in a supervisory role • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
