• The Senior Operations Manager manages the clinical aspects of our dialysis business within a defined region through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, and clinical management. • Maintains strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with all teammates, clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.), and physicians. • This person practices cost containment strategies for all major cost inputs including staffing ratios affecting payroll, hiring (including agency as a last resort), and inventory/supplies, all while ensuring compliance with applicable company and state regulatory requirements. • Assumes "ownership mentality" of each facility in their region. • Maintains full oversight for operational efficiency, clinical excellence, customer service/relationship-development, financial prudence, and regional leadership. • Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching for all direct reports and clinical staff to maintain an engaged and productive workforce. • Ensures all employees in the region receive the required training and education according to company policy and compliance with continued education. • Oversight of staff retention (This could include staff appreciation, continuing education, engagement surveys, and any other activity that enhances the working environment for staff).
• Graduated from an Accredited Nursing School or 2 years of experience working in a correctional institution or industry that serves correctional institutions or 5+ years of dialysis management experience. • Management of clinical employees in a leadership role for at least 3 years • Ability to be cleared by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP): CLEAN background and credit required • Current CPR Certification (or within 3 months of hire) • Ability to travel as needed for management of sites within the US. Travel may be heavy at times. • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and satisfactorily communicate in English • Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc. • Ability to quickly learn a variety of technical systems and equipment.
