• Create route plans using work order data and route analysis software • Adjust territory plans to create effective and efficient daily and weekly tactical route plans • Perform data analysis of plans, resource availability, and territory • Maintain geographic codes, addresses, and customer information • Communicate routes within assigned territories to service personnel • Summarize and review plans daily with the Service Planning Supervisor • Create daily summary reports and provide them to the supervisor • Report metrics to the Service Planning Supervisor and Branch Managers/Technicians • Perform other duties as assigned
• Advanced knowledge of routing and scheduling software systems • Advanced knowledge of branch service department operations, resources, territory structure, recurring-service planning, and schedule availability • Verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking • Analytical skills and attention to detail • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, and government regulations • Ability to manage multiple, repetitive tasks • Basic understanding of texting software or other software needed for the role • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and the public • Basic knowledge of company operating systems • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders • Drive, work ethic, personal accountability, sound judgment, and attention to detail • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry • 1–2 years of related experience as a dispatcher and/or customer service agent • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition up to 10 pounds occasionally • Ability to sit for long periods while using computers and phones • Close visual acuity for detail-oriented data preparation, analysis, computer-screen viewing, and reading • Must work inside building environments
