📋 Description

• Build new features powering millions of daily conversations on Replicant’s core AI voice and chat products • Ship full-stack end-to-end features with high impact • Integrate automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI model improvements into products • Refactor, optimize, and debug production systems while balancing latency, cost, and user experience • Participate in regular on-call rotations and monitor live production systems • Continuously improve systems using performance metrics and customer feedback • Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentorship across distributed systems, high-availability design, and enterprise-scale AI user experience • Participate in team and company-wide office events; travel required • Design and deliver technology powering natural, human-like conversations at scale • Build user experiences and backend services for designing, launching, and monitoring AI-powered conversations • Collaborate with product and machine learning teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, or complex real-time systems • Experience owning and shipping elegant, maintainable, continuously improving solutions that scale to millions of users • History of raising engineering standards and favoring impact over process • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Mastery of AI tools for writing, improving, debugging, and refactoring large codebases • Experience designing and implementing automated, manual, and AI testing • Mastery of TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React or similar • Mastery of Node.js for production-grade backend systems • Mastery of Python • Experience with Rust, LLM prompt engineering, Google Cloud Services, or Kubernetes • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with metrics, logging, and monitoring • Enthusiasm for AI, machine learning, and telephony • Ability to attend occasional in-person company events • Ability to travel as required
