📋 Description

• Process and track accounts payable invoices in accordance with company policy and ensure timely payments • Initiate and manage domestic and international wire transfers following internal controls and approval processes • Prepare and maintain documentation for month-end reconciliations using Excel in black-line format or similar tools • Manage accrual reporting during the month-end close, including tracking outstanding liabilities and ensuring accurate cut-off procedures • Maintain and reconcile prepaid expense schedules to ensure alignment with accounting standards and reporting timelines • Request and document approvals for vendor invoices and other expenditures as required by internal controls • Handle payroll tax, distribution withholding tax, 1099 forms, and other related tax matters • Respond to vendor inquiries and requests by researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner • Assist in the preparation of schedules and reports for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory filings • Participate in system improvements, process documentation, and implementation of internal accounting procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including AP, reconciliations, and month-end close • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including accruals, prepaids, and digital asset accounting • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • CPA license or progress toward certification (preferred) • Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or trust services industry (preferred) • Familiarity with Sage Intacct (preferred)
