• Independently plan, prioritize, manage, and execute the Corporate Compliance project portfolio • Acquire resources and coordinate team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan and deadlines • Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout project life cycles • Prepare and assist Compliance leadership with reporting to Rochester Regional Health management and the Audit and Compliance Committee • Direct and manage project development on revenue cycle, financial statements, payments, attestations, grants, and payment agreements • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and provide compliance advice and education • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders • Develop full-scale project plans, communications documents, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations • Communicate project expectations and liaise with stakeholders • Estimate resources, prepare budget proposals, negotiate personnel acquisition, and determine staffing or consultant needs • Manage project expectations, delegate tasks, and resolve team issues and conflicts • Identify project dependencies and critical paths; schedule timelines and milestones • Research and assist with approvals for new business growth • Analyze status reports and troubleshoot problem areas • Manage scope changes, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans • Develop corrective action plans and assist with implementation • Perform follow-up audits to ensure monitors are implemented and effective • Define and disseminate project success criteria • Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and influence project team members and contractors • Build business relationships vital to project success • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management • Design and implement annual Fraud Waste and Abuse training and monitor completion • Design innovative compliance-risk programs that ensure stable, long-duration relationships
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3+ years of experience in healthcare Compliance required • 5–10 years of project management experience desired, preferably in healthcare • Strong analytical, computer, communication, and customer service skills • Demonstrated project management experience with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a complex project environment • Experience managing projects within an established standard project lifecycle framework • Lean Sigma, PMP, or CAMP preferred • Sedentary work capacity, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
