📋 Description

• Act as the primary internal technical lead for third-party security assessments and external vulnerability testing • Coordinate vendors, manage timelines, and track remediation • Design, implement, and manage the SIEM capability • Establish log analysis pipelines for environment logs and system telemetry • Use AI tools and automation frameworks to streamline incident detection, reduce false positives, and automate routine tasks • Develop a proactive threat intelligence review process and communicate emerging trends to the EIT team • Provide actionable threat intelligence guidance to teams across the company • Own secure setup, configuration, and baseline hardening of infrastructure, applications, and corporate systems • Develop documentation and runbooks for handing hardened systems to the Support team • Manage systems engineering, application onboarding, and lifecycle ownership within EIT • Partner with IT Support on handover workflows, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures • Triage security-related findings and requests escalated to DevOps • Resolve SecOps-owned issues and forward only appropriate items to DevOps • Establish operational workflows that enable proactive security operations • Deploy SIEM tooling and logging standards to improve time-to-detection • Provide documentation and training to the Support team • Execute compliance and security initiatives • Reduce the volume and unpredictability of security-driven DevOps tickets

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Operations • Proven track record of shifting career focus into security operations • Proven experience configuring SIEM platforms • Experience managing log aggregation • Experience building effective alerting logic • Hands-on experience using automation scripts, tools, or AI-driven capabilities in security operations • Deep technical knowledge of securing cloud environments, network configurations, identity providers (IdP), and enterprise SaaS ecosystems • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects • Experience interfacing with external third-party security vendors • Ability to translate vulnerability data into actionable remediation steps • Exceptional ability to create clear runbooks from complex system architectures • Communication skills to translate technical threat intelligence into updates for non-technical teams • Security-focused certifications such as Security+, CEH, or GISF are highly valued • Cloud or Systems certifications such as AWS or Google certifications are highly valued
