📋 Description

• Manage a hybrid team of analysts and engineers • Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle • Ensure Security Engineering builds necessary preventive/detective controls • Drive the 'Automation and AI' mindset in the team • Serve as the escalation point for incidents • Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to integrate security • Translate technical projects and operational risks into business context

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of overall experience in Security Engineering or Operations • Professional working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Postgres • Experience building or maturing a vulnerability management program • Passionate about leveraging AI in security • Ability to analyze security metrics (MTTR, vulnerability burn-down rates) • Proven ability to manage upward effectively • Experience identifying Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) • Deep familiarity with SaaS environments and evidencing controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR • Strong ability to communicate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders
