📋 Description
• Support and execute digital strategies that grow the organization’s online presence and engagement • Develop content for social platforms and various marketing initiatives • Coordinate social media scheduling and community engagement • Create and analyze written, photo, and video content • Maintain website content and conduct CMS updates • Collaborate with marketing and communications team members • Research competitor activities and industry trends • Apply knowledge of digital marketing tactics to support initiatives
🎯 Requirements
• Completion of a 2- to 3-year college diploma or university degree in digital marketing, or related discipline, or actively working towards completion • Minimum one year of related digital/social media/marketing experience in an organizational setting; previous non-profit experience is an asset • Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to create engaging content and monitor performance against KPIs • Strong storytelling skills across multiple digital marketing channels • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Sprout Social • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and collaboration in team environments • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs position
