📋 Description

• Monitor customer installation milestone progress with the Samsara Implementation Consultant and resolve installation, partner, and project issues while maintaining quality standards • Serve as an escalation and troubleshooting contact during installation phases • Monitor installation-related CSAT and resolve root causes of dissatisfaction • Help partners create project-specific installation guides and deliver onsite training to installer technicians • Coordinate installation vendors to complete work on time, on budget, and to Samsara quality standards • Provide onsite oversight for large or complex deployments, including site readiness checks, installer access and communication, real-time troubleshooting, and quality checks • Perform first-of-kind installations on complex customer projects as the hands-on technical expert • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and keep projects on track • Capture lessons learned to improve processes and installation-partner performance • Collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams to escalate issues, share feedback, and improve the installation experience • Ensure compliance with safety standards and Samsara best practices • Ensure the Statement of Work aligns with project installation requirements • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required; advanced degree preferred • Valid driver’s license and insurability required • 4+ years of experience managing vehicle and/or hardware technology • Prior vehicle installation or up-fitter experience preferred • Understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, including CAN bus and PTO applications, for on-road/off-road vehicles and yellow iron equipment • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems • Experience in field operations coordination, implementation, and technical deployment • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Fluent in English, verbal and written • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration • Willingness to travel 50–70%, including weekends and overnight stays • Ability to develop professional customer-facing documentation • Bias toward standardization and automation • Strong problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset • Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI tools
