📋 Description

• Saputo seeks Field Sales Representative – Foodservice to join its field-based sales team, focusing on Saputo branded products. Territory includes California; responsibilities include developing leads, educating prospects, and turning restaurant owners, managers and buyers into long-term customers. • Key activities include visiting outlets, closing deals, attending distributor meetings and shows, traveling within the territory, and tracking sales leads. • Provide market intelligence, monitor competitors, and relay customer feedback to management. • Travel up to 50% within the California territory; require personal vehicle, driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Strong collaboration with internal teams to align on customer needs and opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• High School degree required; college degree preferred. • 1 - 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in cheese, dairy or other consumer product goods industry. • Strong selling skill set and ability to influence restaurant owners, managers and buyers through fact-based data selling. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey market insights & conditions to restaurant owners, managers, and buyers. • Self-motivated and ability to work independently within a large market and multitask across a large number of customers. • Effective time-management & scheduling skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for cheese and dairy • Periodic lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, reaching and kneeling, and occasional weekend work. • Must have a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and excellent driving record for use during work hours. • Auto allowance provided. • Proficient with Smart Phones and Smart Phone apps, as well as MS Office Professional Suite. • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. • This role will cover the State of California with focus in S. Cal. • Bi-Lingual English & Spanish
