• Perform in a support role as defined by the sponsoring department management • Complete non-complex projects assigned • Network with apprentices and Sedgwick colleagues • Shadow experts who investigate and assemble facts from an insurance perspective • Learn from business line leaders/experts to gain understanding of the insurance and engineering processes • Train on insurance coverages and principles • Assist with projects, observe meetings and inspections • Develop and present capstone project results to the Operating Committee at end of apprentice program • Support the organization's quality program(s)
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a diploma or degree program • Preferred programs include business, insurance, accounting, or engineering • Ability to obtain applicable Adjuster Licensing • Basic knowledge of insurance, claims or business management • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and Excel, PowerPoint • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Ability to work in a team environment
