📋 Description
• Lead full event lifecycle from concept and budgeting to logistics, production, and post-event analysis. • Own and execute marquee events including the Cashtag Awards and Stocktoberfest, ensuring alignment with Stocktwits’ brand, business goals, and community values. • Manage recurring events including sponsored monthly dinners, employee offsites, and partner hospitality initiatives. • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, vendor contracts, and agency relationships. • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Partnerships, Content, and People) to align event strategy with broader company initiatives. • Deliver VIP experiences by managing guest communications, hospitality, and on-site logistics for high-profile sponsors, speakers, and community members. • Evaluate event success through KPIs and feedback, continuously improving process and outcomes. • Select and manage agencies and vendors as needed for creative production, logistics, and experiential design.
🎯 Requirements
• 7–10 years of event management experience, preferably within sports or media industries • Proven track record of executing large-scale branded events and high-touch VIP experiences • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budgeting skills • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across internal and external stakeholders, and with VIP guests/speakers • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, fully remote environment • New York Metro-Area candidates preferred
