đź“‹ Description

• Manage day-to-day legal operations and corporate administration. • Maintain corporate records, minute books, governance documents, annual filings and records for various entities. • Prepare, review, organize and coordinate the execution of contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), templates and other legal documents. • Support regulatory and compliance initiatives by managing documentation, collecting compliance evidence, maintaining licence and registration records, and responding to regulatory authorities. • Triage requests to the legal team, set priorities, track deadlines and follow up on matters. • Improve team operations by developing better templates, guides, processes, knowledge-management tools and solutions that leverage AI. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company to advance legal matters efficiently.

🎯 Requirements

• Paralegal certification or equivalent Canadian qualification as a paralegal or legal technician in corporate law. • Minimum 5 years of experience in an in-house legal team or law firm. • Strong experience in corporate governance, records management, commercial contracts and legal administration. • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and bring structure to a fast-changing environment. • Strong interest in technology and a desire to use AI and automation to improve how legal work is done. • Excellent judgment, discretion and strong written communication skills.
