• Lead, coach and mentor a small team of Mobile Engineers to successfully deliver development projects to specifications • Drive solution design and technical decisions to build design components • Collaborate closely with Product, Design and other business stakeholders. • Implement and enforce coding standards, patterns and best practices for the team in collaboration with other technical leaders • Ensure rapid, reliable, high quality delivery • Ensure regulatory, compliance and non-functional requirements are considered in technical designs • Ensure technical debt is identified and improvement work is appropriately prioritised
🎯 Requirements
• Mobile App development background in Android (preferably Kotlin and/or Java) • Track record in leading small Engineering Teams (along with cross-functional Project Team) to deliver software solutions • Experience working within an agile environment • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations • Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP etc.) • An enthusiasm for keeping up to date on relevant technologies, industry trends and best practice • Balances hands-on coding with technical leadership
