• - Threat Monitoring & Response – Continuously monitor systems and networks for security incidents, investigate alerts, and lead incident response from detection to resolution. • - Vulnerability Management – Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, identify system weaknesses, and drive timely remediation. • - Security Design & Implementation – Define and review security requirements for new systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure alignment with best practices. • - Policy & Protocol Development – Create, maintain, and improve security policies, incident response procedures, and configuration standards for firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint protection tools. • - Reporting & Communication – Produce detailed reports on incidents, risks, and compliance posture; conduct root cause analyses and present findings with actionable recommendations. • - Security Awareness – Lead employee training and awareness initiatives to promote secure behaviours and reduce organisational risk. • - Continuous Improvement – Participate in security projects that enhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• - 6+ years of professional experience in IT or cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years focused on security analysis, monitoring, or incident response. • - Strong technical expertise in threat detection, vulnerability management, and SIEM tools. • - Hands-on experience performing risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. • - Knowledge of network, endpoint, and cloud security concepts and tools. • - Proven ability to develop and implement security policies, incident response plans, and governance frameworks. • - Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks and remediation actions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
