📋 Description

• Designing & maintaining GCP infrastructure (GKE, Bigtable, BigQuery, GCS, networking). • Building monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability from the ground up. • Creating zero-downtime release infrastructure and processes. • Improving our security posture across auth, IAM, policies, and data access. • Evaluating and implementing solutions to simplify and scale data ingestion (ETL/ELT) using technologies like DataBricks, Airflow, etc. • Partnering with backend, AI, and FE teams to deliver reliable, secure systems end-to-end.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles, ideally at the senior IC level • Deep expertise with GCP (IAM, networking, GKE/Cloud Run, Cloud Monitoring, Bigtable/BigQuery, Pub/Sub); similar experience with AWS and an interest in learning GCP is also acceptable • Strong Terraform experience (best practices, modules, workspaces, CI integration, testing) • Strong experience with High Availability infrastructure • Strong understanding of networking layers, SSL certs, and encryption patterns • Proven ability to build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems • Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM policy design, and least-privilege practices • Familiarity with distributed systems concepts (idempotency, backpressure, retries, event-driven workflows) • Experience operating production APIs or services (FastAPI, Flask, or similar) • Strong operational and debugging instincts — you know how to track down issues across network, infra, and application layers • Ability to work cross-functionally with backend, data, and AI/ML teams in a fast-moving environment
