📋 Description

• Lead a team of counsel-level attorneys providing guidance on marketing and promotion of consumer products • Advise on product development, launches, and lifecycle management • Identify, interpret, and implement consumer protection-related laws • Partner with senior product and marketing leaders on strategy • Cultivate understanding of company business model to align legal guidance • Mentor junior and mid-level attorneys and foster collaborative culture • Set standards and best practices for product legal review

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school • Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction • 9+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house • Experience advising on consumer products and advertising/marketing issues • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional partners • Ability to balance strategic guidance with hands-on execution • Excellent business judgment • Creative, self-starter mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity and novel legal issues • Experience leading a team of attorneys and legal professionals (preferred) • Experience advising on AI-powered products (preferred) • Background in consumer goods, health tech, or digital product ecosystems (preferred)
