📋 Description

• support product and engineering teams as a trusted legal partner across the product lifecycle • help build privacy-by-design practices into product development • shape how the team builds responsibly at scale focusing on AI/ML, data privacy, IP, and open-source issues • act as a solutions-oriented advisor and business enabler while maintaining high legal and ethical standards • advise on, draft, and review technology licensing and integration partnership agreements • advise on trademark and brand protection matters • support integration work from acquisitions • partner with Security and Privacy teams on incident response

🎯 Requirements

• law degree • admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state • 4 to 8 years of experience in Big Law and in-house at a tech company • strong product counseling experience • strong command of AI/ML issues • command of privacy (GDPR, CCPA) • command of open-source licensing • command of IP • excellent judgment • business oriented • strong communicator and collaborator • comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders • detail oriented • highly organized • able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • experience at a SaaS company (particularly in databases, data infrastructure, or data platforms) is a plus
