📋 Description

• Establish and manage project schedules and work breakdown structures to ensure project objectives are met • Create and drive project plans to optimize cross-functional resources • Coordinate activities of sub-teams • Controls the day-to-day aspects of projects (may include multiple projects) with regard to scope, schedule, resources and budget • Document and communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to project team and senior management • Serve as the first point of escalation for the project team • Ensure high team morale • Mentor and train team members in project management • Build strong business relationships • Manage project issues to resolution • Actively participate in the execution of the project management strategy within the organization • Engage, promote and improve the Sophos IT Applications project management methodology

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent project management, organization, and team collaboration skills • Demonstrated experience leading IT software projects with project team sizes greater than 5 people • Demonstrated experience in applying and improving project management methodology • Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, waterfall) • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects in scope, on-time, and within budget • Outstanding verbal and written communication • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills • Outstanding negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability • Demonstrated commitment to quality • (Desired) University degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area • (Desired) Experience working at large consulting firm leading software implementations • (Desired) Prior experience as an IT business analyst or programmer • Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted, without requiring employer sponsorship
