📋 Description

• Lead design across SpryCIS squads alongside a Staff Designer • Help build a shared design practice in the SpryCIS product area • Collaborate with product and engineering partners in a triad • Advocate for users and build relationships with stakeholders • Translate complex workflows and product requirements into clear user experiences • Apply typography, hierarchy, and thoughtful use of space to improve complex information interfaces • Conduct user research and usability testing with utility professionals • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes for product and engineering implementation • Participate in design critiques and share learnings • Push back on design decisions when necessary • Report to UX Manager Antonella Espinoza • Present portfolio work during the hiring process, ideally including Enterprise SaaS applications

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of UX design experience • Portfolio demonstrating UX design thinking • Enterprise SaaS, workflow-heavy, or data-dense experience is a bonus • Demonstrated visual craft in functional software interfaces • Experience leading design on a product area and owning the process and output • Comfortable working in a product/engineering/design triad • Ability to influence without formal authority and negotiate conflicting priorities • Experience mentoring junior designers • Ability to use usage patterns, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions • Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools • Solid understanding of interaction design and information architecture for complex, task-heavy interfaces • Curiosity about AI and interest in its application to design is a bonus • Final candidates must complete a background check and identity verification • Candidates are strongly encouraged, but not required, to include and verify a LinkedIn profile
