📋 Description
• The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to build high-quality products quickly in a collaborative team environment. • The Draftsperson is required to produce shop drawings for a range of products and ensure they comply with client and project requirements. • They will work closely with and provide support to the Sales Team to meet deadlines. • Identify potential safety or operational issues and provide solutions. • Work with Engineering Team to ensure shop drawings meet structural design requirements. • Actively Support the Sales team with Product Information such as Drawings, BOMS, etc. • Support Innovation working with the Engineering Design Manager and Design Engineers to enhance and/or protect the company’s product portfolio.
🎯 Requirements
• 3 or more years of Mechanical Drafting / Design Experience • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Solidworks experience preferred and would be highly regarded • Experience or interest in processes and process equipment • Strong attention to detail and well organized • Familiarity with Australian industrial standards is a plus • Highly competent user of Microsoft Office suite of products (emphasis on experience at intermediate level in Excel) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
