📋 Description

• Meet and exceed annual sales and gross profit goals. • Prospect, follow up, and convert new OEM, Capital Project, and MRO customers. • Identify and focus on key strategic accounts for long-term growth. • Conduct detailed needs assessments and develop tailored solutions based on technical and business insights. • Create compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations that align with customer requirements. • Close deals that maximize value for both the customer and the company. • Provide responsive, on-time, and error-free service while proactively solving problems. • Leverage internal technical and service resources to deliver the best solutions. • Track metrics, manage opportunities, and report weekly progress. • Participate in weekly accountability meetings and ongoing training through SunSource University

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering OR 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • 3+ years of industrial sales experience • 2+ years in Fluid Power sales strongly preferred • Knowledge of Automation or Motion Control a plus • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset • Consultative, value-added sales approach • Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills • Self-motivated, organized, and competitive • Valid driver’s license required • Overnight travel may be required at times
