âą Monitor infrastructure using RMM or NOC tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios, SolarWinds). âą Proactively identify performance degradation and respond to incidents. âą Execute remote troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks. âą Maintain and update alerting thresholds and monitoring configurations. âą Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Tier or Engineering team. âą Participate in scheduled maintenance windows for patching or hardware updates. âą Maintain detailed shift logs and incident documentation. âą Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for service restoration.
âą 1+ year of experience in NOC operations or infrastructure monitoring. âą Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls). âą Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios). âą Experience with ticketing systems such as ConnectWise or ServiceNow. âą Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. âą Familiarity with SLA tracking and escalation procedures. âą Certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCT/CCNA) are a plus. âą Excellent focus, time management, and written documentation skills. âą Experience with shift work and high-availability environments.
