Tarteel AI is a mobile and web app that helps users memorize and revise the Quran using AI-powered audio analysis and learning tools. Its flagship feature detects missed, incorrect, and skipped words in recitation and provides real-time feedback; complementary features include memorization planning, goal tracking, revision tools, premium subscriptions (Tarteel Premium), family plans, and community resources such as a podcast, blog, and Hifz Network. The product is aimed at learners of the Quran seeking structured memorization support and uses machine learning/speech recognition to evaluate recitation and guide practice.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React, React Native, Kotlin, and SQL • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features • Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance • Execute on pixel-perfect responsive designs and animations with a high degree of polish and an eye for detail • Strong alignment towards creating functional and delightful user experiences for the intended audience • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices • Proactively identify and drive changes as needed across all product areas • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues • Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and product quality • Provide strategic insight and technical guidance on how to architect our code base to support our user base as we scale product features

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in mobile or full-stack development • 1+ years of experience in React Native development • Proficiency in JavaScript, with relevant experience using React and React Native • Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices • Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes • Experience with feature flagging and A/B testing • Experience with development and maintenance of products serving 1M+ users • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment • Availability for meetings from Monday to Thursday between 8am and 12pm Eastern
