📋 Description

• Develop and maintain company accounting policies, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP. • Support critical accounting areas, including contract reviews for revenue recognition (ASC 606) and accounting for leases (ASC 842), as well as hedge accounting, stock-based compensation and earnings per share. • Perform technical accounting research and prepare technical memos for new accounting standards and complex transactions. • Manage the preparation of Form 10-Q’s and 10-K to be filed with the SEC, including all supporting schedules. • Manage the consolidation of monthly financial statements and review financial information for accuracy, including analytical reviews. • Develop and maintain proper internal controls relating to the technical accounting and financial reporting processes. • Proactively monitor new financial accounting pronouncements and SEC reporting rules and assess their impact on the Company’s financial statements. • Interface with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits. • Work directly with accounting managers in local country operations as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of recent financial reporting experience, including mandatory experience in a public company. • A combination of private industry and public accounting experience is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience. • Active CPA designation or equivalent certification is required. • Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations. • Demonstrated experience with managing SOX processes at a public US company. • Experience with the preparation and filing of SEC compliant reports. • Recent experience with reporting systems, preferably Workiva. • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools.
