📋 Description
• Lead the design and development of global child labour programmes aligned with TdH NL’s strategy and donor priorities. • Translate technical guidance into operational plans and partner-led interventions. • Ensure inclusive, participatory programme design that centres child rights and safeguarding. • Oversee annual and multi-year planning of the child labour portfolio. • Manage implementation of child labour projects across countries and partners. • Supervise programme and project staff, providing leadership and performance oversight. • Build strong, trust-based relationships with partners and ensure quality delivery. • Monitor progress, budgets, and risks in collaboration with Finance and Quality teams. • Promote adaptive management using MEAL data and partner feedback. • Work closely with the Technical Expert - CL to integrate learning into programme development and advocacy. • Coordinate with Research & Influencing and Communications teams to amplify programme results. • Facilitate ethical child and youth participation in learning and advocacy. • Identify and pursue funding opportunities for the child labour portfolio. • Lead or contribute to proposal development and donor engagement. • Represent TdH NL in external networks, alliances, and policy spaces.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-country programmes in child rights or protection. • Strong knowledge of child labour prevention and global policy frameworks. • Demonstrated success in partnership management and donor relations. • Experience with evidence-based programming and adaptive learning. • Commitment to safeguarding, child participation, and trauma-informed approaches. • Excellent communication and external representation skills. • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset. • Experience working in Africa and/or Asia, preferably in partnership-based settings.
