📋 Description

• Conduct outreach to prospective clients and other organizations that may provide referrals; • Identify and interview prospective clients and assist them in completing the application process for Team Rubicon’s Long Term Recovery services. • Develop Individual Recovery Plans that include client input. • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor and assess the effectiveness of services provided. • Document comprehensive client background information, case history, updates and progress towards Individual Recovery Plan in both physical and digital files via online software. • Prepare reports as requested. • Assist clients in identifying and obtaining available benefits as well as social and community resources. • Develop and maintain rapport with volunteers, acting as a liaison between geographic members and members in Team Rubicon’s Long Term Recovery team. • Provide support in identifying new capability opportunities within the scope of Long Term Recovery efforts and report accordingly. • Develop and maintain partnerships and relationships across sectors and act as an advocate for those affected by disasters. • Flexibility to adapt to changing disaster landscapes and assume other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, disaster management, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience • 2-3 years of relevant experience in disaster case management or client services • Preferred: Experience in customer service, client intake, social services, CRM tools, and demonstrated experience using data and research to advise organizational decision-making
