• TEECOM | We Make Technology Work in Buildings • Do you want to launch or advance a career at the intersection of technology and the built environment? • Do you want to work with exceptional engineers to creatively solve complex problems? • Do you want to work with clients to take their building experiences to the next level of connectivity, safety, and wow-factor? • Do you want to join a company that defines the state of the art in its practice, with visionary leadership and in-house research and development? • TEECOM is a $45+ million/year consulting engineering firm with an average annual growth rate of 20% over the past 25 years. • We make technology work in buildings through strategic consulting, design and engineering, project management, and enterprise support. • We work hard in a fast-paced professional environment that will challenge you to learn and grow, and we play hard through team lunches and events that give back to the community. • TEECOM is one of the fastest-growing companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, with additional teams in New York City, the United Kingdom, the Pacific Northwest, Southern California, and Texas. • As a senior-level engineering role, the Principal, Senior Consultant leads large and complex projects that span multiple disciplines. • This individual works with clients, product manufacturers, contractors, other design team members, and other employees of TEECOM to take each project from start to finish with limited direction. • This entails providing detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and report information to the client. • Projects are expected to be completed on time and on budget. • This individual is expected to delegate work effectively, promote teamwork, mentor less senior staff, develop relationships with clients leading to repeat business, collaborate with Marketing on the pursuit and interview process, and speak at events/conferences to elevate the TEECOM brand within the discipline/market. • This individual will also participate in the TEECOMuniversity in-house training program, mentoring junior designers through the courses, developing new course content, and providing feedback on existing courses. • The Team Lead is an additional responsibility to a Project Delivery - Engineering role, ranging from Associate Principal to Principal, Vice President. • Team Lead leads a team that works together to serve and develop long-term relationships with clients, enabling the team to win work, deliver those projects, and get paid for the work completed.

🎯 Requirements

• Education/Degree/Major: BS in Engineering • Minimum of eight years of discipline in telecom/structured cabling design for Healthcare facilities construction projects • Autodesk (Revit) • Bluebeam Studio • Microsoft Suite • G Suite • Supervisory responsibilities (direct reports of 5-10, overall team size of 20+)
