• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers currently traveling or interested in purchasing/researching travel • Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner • Effectively turn customer inquiries into sales • Utilize appropriate selling techniques to meet revenue and close rate goals • Research travel rates, destinations, options and packages for customers • Provide information, suggestions and options in a manner that is accurate, effectively meets the needs of customers, and entices them to purchase • Accurately track and report call types and service issues
• High school degree or equivalent (required) • College or some college degree (preferred) • Two years of customer sales, upsales, telemarketing and service experience (required) • Two years Corporate or leisure travel industry experience (required) • One-year international booking experience • Strong communication skills are required
