📋 Description

• Own NCAA eligibility end to end by registering students with the NCAA Eligibility Center, tracking Core Course progress, monitoring GPA against the sliding scale, and aligning transcripts with Division I and Division II requirements • Audit student transcripts against NCAA Core Course, GPA, and sliding scale requirements, flagging gaps and working with the academic team to resolve them • Advise parents and student-athletes on current eligibility status, risks, and required next steps • Partner with academic guides and the campus team on course selections, credit recovery, and transcript changes • Support recruiting-related eligibility guidance concerning coach visibility, official visits, and offers • Track each student's Core Courses, GPA, Eligibility Center registration, and next steps • Send regular, clear updates to families regarding eligibility status and transcript progress • Collaborate with academic guides, coaches, and the Dean of Parents to keep eligibility and transcripts aligned with classroom and athletic activities

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of NCAA eligibility experience in NCAA compliance, college athletic academic advising, high school athletic counseling, or a similar role • Deep knowledge of the NCAA Eligibility Center, Core Course requirements, GPA and sliding scale rules, and Division I and Division II initial eligibility • Ability to evaluate high school transcripts against NCAA requirements • Experience advising parents and student-athletes, delivering difficult news, creating plans, and gaining buy-in • Working knowledge of college recruiting, including eligibility implications of visits, offers, and coach conversations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organized, reliable, and able to track multiple student eligibility cases and follow through • Fully remote work setup with reliable internet and a quiet space for video calls
